New Hope Church, as an Elim Pentecostal Church believes in Church government as laid down in scripture. The local Church is led by a Pastor and a team of elders. Deacons are appointed to look after the practical elements of Church. The Pastor is appointed by the Church elders and serves for an indefinite period of time. Elders are elected by the current elders and the pastor, then confirmed by a majority vote of the Church Members. The Deacons are elected by the Pastor and elders. Elders and Deacons serve for a term of five years before re-election.
